Faces Project
I am looking for people to write.
I did a photo-shoot last year with my (and probably your) friend Heather. The idea was -- because she can be so expressive -- for her to make faces. A variety of expressions and emotions and so on. There are many, many pictures, though I've narrowed it down to some of the best. (See samples above).
I am looking for people who would like to write short pieces -- in any style -- explaining the expression in a single photo. Stories about what lead to that image. Each person would work with a different photo. Any honest attempt -- from a couple sentences to a couple pages -- would be welcome.
Right now I'm just gathering interested people. When ready, i will unveil a selection of photos to choose from on a first come, first serve basis. You'd have a month or so to write something. Then they'd all be collected and released to the public.
This is a personal project, for fun. No one is making or paying any money. There is no pressure. I like making pictures, and I have many friends who like writing.
If you're interested, please comment below, email me, or contact me in any convenient way.
